Nancy, artist

I am Puerto Rican, a self taught artist, and a native New Yorker, carrying on a love affair with all things art.  I studied fashion design at Wood Tobé-Coburn School In New York City but soon found myself attracted to the contemporary art world.

My passion as an avid theatre goer led me to create Nansie drew Broadway in 2014, a facebook page  which combines arworks inspired by theatre productions.  In 2018, I became a member of LICA (Long Island City Artists), a non-profit which successfully encourages aritsts while in the same breath increasing their visibility.  LICA rents art space in Long Island City's Plaxall Gallery where my artwork has been displayed in several member showcases since joining their art organization.
